Technology awards in the UK celebrate innovation and record entries

The Dynamites Awards 2026 have announced a record number of entries, featuring finalists across 14 categories such as artificial intelligence, data, and technology for social good. Organized by Dynamo North East, the ceremony will be held at the Newcastle Civic Centre on November 12. The event, sponsored by Accenture UK & Ireland, aims to support the Dynamo Digital Inclusion Fund to improve digital access in the region.

In the health technology sector, the HTN Health Tech Awards 2026 have named Proximie as the winner of the Innovation of the Year category. Their platform, The Intelligence Suite, utilizes ambient data capture, computer vision, and AI-powered analytics to optimize surgical workflows. An evaluation at Guy’s & St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust showed the technology helped reduce procedure durations by nearly 20 minutes per case during robotic thoracic surgery.
