Technology exhibition in Natal extended through September
The technology exhibition ‘Tudo Isso Já Foi Futuro’ (All This Was Once the Future) has had its visitation period extended at the Instituto Metrópole Digital (IMD/UFRN) in Natal, Brazil. The event is scheduled to run until September 30.
The exhibition features over 800 pieces of electronic and technological equipment spanning several decades. Highlights include a replica of the world’s first mobile phone, more than 700 different cell phone models, computers that arrived in Brazil during the 1980s, 1970s and 1980s televisions, and a functional 1950s vacuum tube radio.
Promoted by Metrópole Parque in partnership with Natal Reciclagem, the exhibition offers free admission without the need for prior scheduling. The collection aims to demonstrate technological evolution to different generations, ranging from students studying electronics to older visitors revisiting items from their daily lives.
