Technology transfer and innovation events held in Chile and Ecuador

In Chile, the 3rd European Hazelnut Technology Transfer Day was held in Temuco on September 9. The event brought together producers, researchers, advisors, and representatives from over 30 institutions to discuss cultivation challenges, share research findings, and address economic and climatic obstacles facing the industry.

In Ecuador, the annual Congress of the Research, Innovation, and Technology Transfer Network (RIT2) took place on September 3 and 4 in Joya de los Sachas, Orellana. Held within the framework of the VII International Congress of Intelligent Technologies and Systems (CI3), the gathering showcased advancements in technical and technological training. Discussions covered diverse fields including mining, health, artificial intelligence, and biocommerce, emphasizing the role of technical institutes in driving regional development and connecting academic research with the needs of productive sectors.
