Technopark engineering lab receives NABL accreditation

Technopark's state-owned engineering laboratory has become the first in an Indian IT park to receive accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Testing and Calibration Laboratories (NABL). The laboratory has been accredited under the international standard ISO/IEC 17025:2017, which defines requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories.

Established last year at the Phase-I campus, the facilities include civil and electrical engineering laboratories. The civil lab is equipped to test concrete and other construction materials against Indian Standard specifications, while the electrical lab can test and repair components such as LED fixtures and drivers.

Technopark CEO Sandeep Kumar stated that the accreditation will support quality and sustainability in infrastructure development and allow the engineering department to provide technical support to co-developers. The facility will also be accessible to external developers and companies in the vicinity to verify material compliance and construction specifications.
