Techsamana launches Navigasi map application in Malaysia

The Professional Association of Science and Technology (Techsamana) has announced the launch of Navigasi, a new map and travel guidance application designed specifically for the Malaysian market. Developed to incorporate local wisdom and community needs, the app is now available on the Google Play Store.

According to Techsamana Chairman Ts. Azril Hanafi Abdullah Sharwani, the application features tools tailored to the Malaysian driving experience. Key functionalities include voice instructions in Bahasa Melayu, toll price information, and locations for petrol stations, suraus, rest areas (R&R), and electric vehicle charging stations. It also provides prayer times during travel.

Additionally, Navigasi allows users to share real-time road condition reports, such as traffic congestion, accidents, flooding, and road closures. The initiative aims to build local technological capabilities so that Malaysians can develop digital solutions that reflect their specific environment, culture, and practical requirements.
