TechTrain launches AI fundamentals course for students and professionals

TechTrain (TechBowl) began offering a new learning material called “生成AIの仕組み” (The Mechanics of Generative AI) on the 23rd. The curriculum is designed to move users from a superficial use of generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude to a deeper understanding of how large‑language models work, how prompts function, and how surrounding features like memory, web‑search tools, multimodality and retrieval‑augmented generation operate. It targets students, junior engineers and business professionals, and can also serve as AI‑literacy training for new hires.

Separately, an exploratory project tested OpenAI’s ChatGPT Images 2.0 for banner design. Using prompts the model generated raster images that were then exported to Canva, Illustrator (as SVG) and attempted for Photoshop (PSD). Canva allowed direct editing, while Illustrator succeeded via SVG output generated by the Codex variant of ChatGPT; Photoshop export was not possible. The experiment highlighted the current limits and possibilities of AI‑generated visual assets across design tools.
