Carlos Galindo Bertaud, a public official and political operator in Tecámac, Estado de México, was injured in an armed attack. The incident occurred in Ojo de Agua when two individuals on a motorcycle opened fire on his vehicle.

Galindo sustained injuries to his right hand caused by glass fragments from the vehicle's windows. The driver of the vehicle was also wounded and transported to a local hospital, where they are reported to be out of danger. The Fiscalía del Estado de México has launched an investigation into the shooting.

Galindo has held several prominent roles in the region, including municipal treasurer of San Juan Teotihuacán, technical secretary of the Tecámac city council, and head of the DIF system. He is currently serving as secretary of the city council for the 2025-2027 administration under Rosa Yolanda Wong Romero.
