Tecnam delivers new aircraft to European Flyers and Tropic Air Charters

Italian aircraft manufacturer Tecnam has announced significant fleet modernization deliveries to two different operators.

European Flyers, a major Spanish pilot training organization, has received its first Tecnam P2010 TDI. This marks the beginning of a program to acquire twelve aircraft. The P2010 TDI features a Garmin G1000 NXi digital cockpit and a Continental CD-170 engine that runs on JET A1 fuel, aimed at improving operational efficiency and sustainability through reduced carbon emissions.

Tropic Air Charters has also taken delivery of its first Tecnam P2012 Traveller. Following a transatlantic ferry flight from Italy to Florida, the aircraft will be used to connect South Florida to the Bahamas. The operator is replacing older Britten-Norman aircraft with the P2012 to provide enhanced passenger amenities and utilize Short Take-Off and Landing (STOL) capabilities for challenging island runways.
