Tecnimont signs FEED contract for Argent LNG export facility
Tecnimont USA, a subsidiary of MAIRE, has signed a front-end engineering design (FEED) contract with Argent LNG to develop an export facility at Port Fourchon, Louisiana. The proposed terminal is expected to have a total capacity of 25 million tonnes per annum.
The scope of the contract includes FEED engineering activities, technical support for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) permitting process, project execution planning, cost estimation, and safety studies. The completion of the FEED phase is intended to provide technical certainty and bankability for the project. Following the finalization of FERC permitting and a final investment decision by the client, the project is expected to proceed to the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) phase.
