TecNM upgrades campus facilities and expands pollinator gardens

The Instituto Tecnológico Nacional de México (TecNM) carried out a series of improvements at two of its campuses.

At its Minatitlán campus in Veracruz, the institute repainted and repaired the perimeter wall surrounding the campus boulevard. The work, overseen by Dr. Gilberto Rodríguez Montufar and coordinated by Eduardo Enoch Galindo Sánchez and Haidé Briguity Domínguez Hernández, aims to preserve the structure, improve the campus’s visual image and extend the wall’s lifespan.

Meanwhile, the TecNM campus in Múzquiz received a donation from WWF México and the nonprofit Ecosistémica A.C. The contribution includes native plants, tools and nursery supplies to expand its “Jardines Polinizadores,” a pollinator garden intended to conserve bees, butterflies and hummingbirds. Campus director M. A. Santos Eduardo de la Garza García said the project will strengthen environmental education for students and support local biodiversity.
