Tecno introduces the ultra-slim Camon Slim 5G smartphone

Tecno has introduced the Camon Slim 5G, a smartphone focused on an ultra-thin design measuring just 6.39mm. Despite its slim profile, the device features a large 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and a high-capacity 6000mAh battery supporting 45W fast charging.

Technical specifications include a Dimensity 7300e chipset, 8GB of RAM (expandable to 16GB via virtual RAM), and storage options of 128GB or 256GB. The camera system consists of a 50MP main sensor with OIS using the Sony LYTIA 700C sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 32MP front camera. The device is built for durability, carrying IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings, alongside MIL-STD-810H military standard compliance.

Accompanying the phone is the MagBadge, a circular external screen accessory that connects via Bluetooth. It can function as a remote shutter, selfie mirror, or photo gallery widget. The device also features Tecno AI functions and Freelink 2.0 compatibility, allowing for device-to-device Bluetooth connections up to 1.5 kilometers in areas with poor network coverage. The starting price is approximately $465.
