Tecno it targets expansion in AI and smart cities by 2027
Brazilian technology company Tecno it has announced plans for a major expansion phase targeting 2027. Following a period of stabilization and the conclusion of a General Assembly of Creditors in May, the company intends to increase investments in artificial intelligence, data centers, and smart city technologies.
CEO Ibrahim Boufleur noted that the company has recently focused on restructuring, cost adjustments, and strengthening governance. As part of its current strategy, Tecno it has launched a smart city project in Gurupi, Tocantins. This initiative integrates digital governance and video monitoring to support local traffic management and the operations of the Civil and Military police through real-time data analysis.
Tecno it currently manages over 60 smart cities across Brazil and aims to expand its presence in the digital transformation sectors of both government and private enterprises.
