TECNO launches POVA 8 gaming phones in Saudi Arabia

TECNO officially introduced its POVA 8 gaming smartphone series in Saudi Arabia, opening pre‑orders at a launch event attended by media, content creators and Saudi YouTuber Bandar Medkhali (known as Banderita). The phones combine a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate processor with TECNO’s proprietary P1 GPU, support up to 144 fps gaming, feature IP69K water‑dust protection, and a customizable Alive Matrix design. A limited‑edition Lamborghini‑branded model was also announced.

In a separate product announcement, TECNO detailed the specifications of the Pova Curve 2, a budget‑friendly 5G handset. It offers a 6.78‑inch curved AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits, an 8,000 mAh battery, up to 24 GB of RAM (12 GB physical plus 12 GB virtual), IP64 rating, and runs Android 16 with HiOS 16. The device is positioned below €300.
