TECNO to launch POVA 8 gaming smartphone series in Saudi Arabia with Banderita

TECNO announced that it will launch the POVA 8 series, a new line of gaming‑focused smartphones, in Saudi Arabia. The launch follows a two‑year partnership with Saudi gaming influencer Bandar Madkhali, known as Banderita, which evolved from marketing collaborations into joint product development. Banderita visited TECNO’s research and development facilities in China, reviewing device design, quality testing and performance validation to ensure the phone meets Saudi gamers’ expectations.

The POVA 8 series uses a dual‑chip architecture that pairs a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate processor with a P1 graphics chip, delivering smoother, more stable gameplay. It also features an interactive “Alive Matrix” visual design. A limited Banderita edition of 500 units will be released, featuring exclusive branding and digital content. The official unveiling is scheduled for 24 July, which will also showcase a short documentary titled “From Saudi to China” that chronicles the collaboration.
