Chinese smartphone maker Tecno announced its Next‑Gen Borderless Concept Phone, a prototype that it claims eliminates the visible black bezel entirely, achieving a 0 mm margin around the display. The company says the achievement required advanced internal stacking, new screen‑packaging techniques and a structural redesign of the handset. The concept still retains a centrally placed hole‑punch front camera but otherwise presents a virtually edge‑to‑edge screen.

Tecno will showcase the device at the IFA 2026 consumer‑electronics fair in Berlin, Germany, scheduled for September. Promotional images compare the prototype with Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro, highlighting the thinner visual border.
