TECNO unveils CAMON Slim 5G and modular tech at IFA 2026

TECNO has unveiled the CAMON Slim 5G, an ultra-thin smartphone measuring just 6.39mm. Despite its slim profile, the device features a 6,000mAh battery, a 6.78-inch 144Hz AMOLED display, and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300e 5G chipset. The phone includes a 50MP Sony LYTIA 700C main camera and offers high durability with IP69K water and dust resistance alongside MIL-STD-810H certification.

The CAMON Slim 5G emphasizes artistic design, offering several unique colorways such as Neo Mondrian, which uses photochromic technology to reveal patterns under UV light, and Van Gogh Blue, which features a nebula-inspired gradient.

Additionally, at IFA 2026, TECNO showcased several other innovations, including the Tonino Lamborghini TECNO TAURUS gaming mini PC, which won a gold award for miniaturized gaming technology, and a modular smartphone concept featuring a 4.9mm body and magnetic attachment technology. Other showcased products included a next-generation bezel-less concept phone and the MEGABOOK T15 360 Pro series laptop.
