Tecnotecas Municipales CREA provide free technology workshops in Córdoba
The Municipalidad de Córdoba has established the Tecnotecas Municipales CREA (Centros de Recursos para la Experimentación y la Acción), which are free community spaces designed for children, youth, and adults to engage with science, art, communication, and technology.
Operating across five Educational Parks in the neighborhoods of Congreso, Villa Allende Parque, Campo de la Ribera, Nicolás Avellaneda, and Estación Flores, these centers provide access to advanced equipment including notebooks, 3D printers, cameras, microphones, and audio laboratories. The facilities are organized into three specialized stations: Estación 360° for collaborative technological learning, Estación Rec for audiovisual and sound production, and the Estación Gamer y Microcine for immersive experiences involving virtual reality, augmented reality, and high-definition projections.
Participants can attend workshops covering programming, robotics, artificial intelligence, streaming, podcasts, and video game design. Additionally, the Club CREA at the Parque Educativo Noroeste offers a weekly gathering for adolescents to develop digital skills and work collaboratively on technical projects.
