TECO Electric targets 100 billion TWD revenue via AI infrastructure
TECO Electric, marking its 70th anniversary, has unveiled a strategic roadmap focused on three core pillars: power energy services, AI infrastructure, and smart power. Chairman Li Ming-hsien announced a goal to reach 100 billion TWD in revenue within the next two to three years, driven largely by the growing demand for AI data center construction.
To support this growth, the company is transitioning from a product-centric model to a service-oriented approach known as ‘One TECO’. This initiative aims to integrate the company’s various business units—ranging from motor manufacturing to energy management—to provide comprehensive solutions for clients. TECO is currently collaborating with several major global cloud service providers (CSPs) and is discussing modular data center solutions with clients in Southeast Asia, Japan, and North America.
In addition to AI infrastructure, TECO is expanding its energy services through Energy Service Company (ESCO) projects. These projects assist industries such as PCB manufacturing and healthcare in implementing energy-saving schemes, renewable energy, and energy storage. The company also plans to integrate green finance services by partnering with financial institutions to help clients fund energy-efficiency upgrades.
