Teddington ATM stolen in dramatic ram‑raid

A group of thieves used a hammer to damage a free‑standing cash machine on Kingston Road outside a Londis shop in Teddington, southwest London. After attempting to smash the back of the machine, they attached bands taken from a car boot and reversed a blue vehicle, dragging the entire ATM off its pavement mounting and onto the road.

The six‑minute CCTV footage captured the heist, showing the thieves' actions and a passer‑by watching on a mobile phone. The Metropolitan Police have seized an abandoned vehicle linked to the incident and are searching for four men believed to be involved. No arrests have been made, and police are urging anyone with information to contact them.
