Teddy Riner re-signs with PSG Judo through 2028

Five-time Olympic champion Teddy Riner has officially re-signed with Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) Judo, committing to the club until 2028. The 37-year-old heavyweight aims to use this period to prepare for his final professional challenge: the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

Beyond competitive performance, Riner’s role will include serving as an ambassador for the club, inspiring younger generations of judokas, and supporting PSG for Communities initiatives. The partnership seeks to strengthen the club's international presence and its judo section.

Currently, Riner is managing a right shoulder injury that forced him to withdraw from the upcoming World Championships in Azerbaijan. He expressed confidence in his recovery protocols, noting his goal remains to secure a fourth individual Olympic gold medal in Los Angeles.
