Teddy Sheringham urges Manchester United to sign Brighton star Kostoulas

Manchester United legend Teddy Sheringham has urged the club to pursue Brighton and Hove Albion forward Charalampos Kostoulas. The 19-year-old Greek international has emerged as a breakout star in the Premier League during the 2026/27 campaign.

Sheringham highlighted Kostoulas’s performance in Brighton’s 3-0 victory over Arsenal, describing him as a “proper leader of the line” and a player who could eventually command a transfer fee exceeding £100 million. The former striker noted that Kostoulas possesses a complete skill set, including aerial ability, efficient finishing, and ball control.

Manchester United is currently utilizing Benjamin Sesko and Joshua Zirkzee as specialist striker options, though Sesko has faced recent fitness issues. Sheringham suggested that manager Michael Carrick should act quickly to secure the youngster before other major clubs do.
