TEDi recalls wooden stacking toy due to choking hazard

The retail chain TEDi has issued a nationwide product recall for a wooden stacking toy due to a significant choking hazard for young children. Internal product testing revealed that small parts can detach from the toy during use, posing an acute health risk if swallowed.

The affected product consists of a wooden base with various geometric shapes, including circles, rectangles, triangles, and squares. The recall applies to items sold in TEDi stores between January 30, 2026, and September 7, 2026. The specific article numbers involved are 223640012710000000200 and 855870012710000000200.

Consumers are urged to stop using the toy immediately and keep it out of reach of children. Customers can return the product to any TEDi branch for a full refund of the 2.00 Euro purchase price or exchange it for another item. A receipt is not required for the return.
