TEDx Forte dei Marmi beach event showcases design and innovation

The third edition of TEDx Forte dei Marmi took place on the sand of the Augustus Beach Club in the Italian seaside town of Forte dei Marmi, marking the only TEDx event held on a beach worldwide. The conference, themed “Dreams to Design,” explored how imagination becomes concrete solutions in design, yachting, hospitality and lifestyle, and introduced the Design Valley platform to connect creators and brands.

Organisers Matteo Stefanini and Marta Del Sere announced the 2027 theme “Timeless by Design” and opened a call for speakers. Notable presenters included yacht designer Giorgio Cassetta, Olympic windsurfer Alessandra Sensini, swimmer Luca Dotto, luxury‑hospitality advisor Palmiro Noschese, chef Valentino Cassanelli and physicist‑CEO Valentina Cultifutura. The event sold out, achieving record attendance for the series and reinforcing the region’s reputation as a design and innovation hub.
