TEDxGela to hold sixth edition in Gela on October 10

The sixth edition of TEDxGela is scheduled for Saturday, October 10, at the Teatro Eschilo in Gela, Sicily. The event will begin at 3:30 PM and will offer free admission, though reservations are required.

The theme for the 2026 edition is ‘Cuntu. Numbers that count. Words that tell. Images that account.’ The concept of ‘Cuntu’ draws on Sicilian culture, representing both oral storytelling and the act of accounting or measurement. The event aims to bridge the gap between abstract data—such as statistics and algorithms—and meaningful human narratives, fostering a dialogue between quantitative metrics and qualitative storytelling.
