Tee Grizzley’s Felony Record Expunged in Michigan
Detroit rapper Tee Grizzley announced that every felony conviction on his record has been expunged after a court ceremony in Lansing, Michigan. Ingham County Circuit Court Judge Rosemarie Aquilina signed the order on August 5, clearing the rapper’s Michigan criminal record and removing legal barriers that had limited his ability to travel, obtain insurance and pursue certain business opportunities.
During the same event, two Ingham County teenagers who had completed the county’s juvenile weapons‑court program received reductions of their felony weapons charges to misdemeanors. Grizzley used the occasion to encourage the youths and others with criminal records to keep working, praying and growing.
The expungement follows Grizzley’s earlier convictions for robbery‑related offenses in Michigan and Kentucky, for which he served sentences before releasing the breakout single “First Day Out” in 2017. He shared the news on Instagram, writing, “Every felony GONE!!!! Thank you God.”
