TEEMA Technology Park planned for Miękinia near Wrocław

Preparations are underway for the construction of the TEEMA Technology Park in Miękinia, near Wrocław, Poland. The project is led by the Taiwan Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association (TEEMA), an association representing over 3,000 companies that accounts for approximately 25% of Taiwan's GDP.

During an official meeting in Wrocław involving government and local administration officials, it was revealed that investors are interested in an area of approximately 280 hectares, a significant increase from the initially planned 150 hectares. Key challenges identified for the project include the provision of essential utilities such as electricity, water, and gas, as well as streamlining work permit processes for foreign specialists and coordinating infrastructure like road and rail networks.

A Memorandum of Understanding is expected to be signed by the end of 2026. Once approved, the construction of the technological complex is estimated to take roughly 20 months. The project holds strategic importance for the region, with potential links to major corporations like Foxconn, which has previously engaged in strategic partnerships with ElectroMobility Poland regarding electric vehicle manufacturing.
