Tremiti Music Festival Names Giuliano Sangiorgi Artistic Director for Sunset Concert Series

The Tremiti Music Festival will run from 26 to 28 August on the Isole Tremiti, with a new artistic direction under Negramaro front‑man Giuliano Sangiorgi. Titled “Fino All’Imbrunire”, the edition focuses on sunset performances that blend author‑songwriting with the archipelago’s natural scenery. Sangiorgi will open the festival on 26 August on the island of San Nicola, followed by Tiromancino on 27 August on San Domino and Aiello on 28 August, all backed by the Raffaele Casarano Locomotive Resident Band. Each evening a DJ set by Vivaz will close the program in Piazza Pertini, San Domino. The event also pays tribute to Lucio Dalla, a long‑time associate of the islands. Organisers – Regione Puglia, Puglia Culture and the Comune delle Isole Tremiti – say the festival aims to showcase the power of the location, with Sangiorgi noting, “La bellezza delle Isole Tremiti mi ha abbagliato, letteralmente sconvolto”.
