Gosford teen charged with murder after fatal stabbing

A 15‑year‑old boy was charged with murder after allegedly stabbing 22‑year‑old Zane Robson nine times on Mann Street in Gosford, New South Wales, during an argument over a hat. The incident occurred on 28 July 2026; Robson was treated at the scene and later died at Gosford Hospital.

Police arrested the teenager and a 45‑year‑old woman, who was charged with hindering the apprehension of a person alleged to have committed a serious offence. Both were refused bail. The boy is due to appear before a Children’s Bail Court, and his lawyer has sought treatment under the Mental Health Act. The woman was granted conditional bail pending a court mention.
