Teenage Fishing Drownings Reported in Eastern Turkey's Muş and Diyarbakır

In Muş province, two cousins aged 15 and 18 fell into a river while fishing and were pulled from the water by AFAD, emergency medical, and gendarmerie teams, but both died despite treatment at Muş State Hospital.

In the Silvan district of Diyarbakır, 25‑year‑old Abdullah Yanık went missing after setting out to fish on the Malabadi River. Authorities dispatched gendarmerie, AFAD, fire crews and local volunteers; his bicycle and fishing gear were recovered, and search operations continue along the riverbanks.
