Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles unveil final ‘Last Ronin’ comic and toy license shift

The original creative team behind Kevin Eastman and Tom Waltz’s “The Last Ronin” will return for the series’ concluding chapter, “The Last Ronin III – Return for New York,” scheduled for release next summer. The new volume caps the Roninverse trilogy and features a cover homage with Casey Marie Jones, the daughter of Casey Jones and April O’Neil.

At San Diego Comic‑Con, NECA confirmed that its Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toy line will end this year, with the Ultimate Cartoon Tempestra figure slated as the final release. NECA will be succeeded by Mattel as the master toy‑license holder for the TMNT property beginning in 2027.
