Tefé hosts Empodera Mulher event to support female entrepreneurs

The fifth edition of the Empodera Mulher initiative, titled ‘Empreenda e Faça Acontecer’, was held in Tefé, Amazonas. The event included a fair on September 4 and 5 at Praça Remanso do Boto, showcasing various businesses and family farming products.

The program included a month of training and workshops throughout August aimed at developing business skills for women entrepreneurs and family farmers. The initiative, organized by Sebrae/AM and the City Hall of Tefé, seeks to promote financial autonomy and strengthen the local economy. Through the Sebrae Regional Office in Tefé, these support solutions extend to eight municipalities, including Uarini, Alvarães, Fonte Boa, Japurá, Jutaí, Juruá, and Maraã.
