Ștefan Baiaram returns to scoring form for Universitatea Craiova

Ștefan Baiaram has scored for Universitatea Craiova in a Conference League victory against Inter d’Escaldes, marking a return to form after a period of low offensive efficiency. The goal, scored in the 5th minute, follows a challenging stretch for the player.

Former player Silvian Cristescu noted that local players from Craiova face heightened pressure from supporters who demand high levels of commitment and energy. Cristescu suggested that Baiaram's recent difficulties were partly due to a perceived lack of energy rather than just a lack of goals, but believes the player's attitude has improved.

In response to his recent performance fluctuations, Mihai Stoichiță, technical director of the Romanian Football Federation (FRF), suggested that sports psychology could assist the player. Stoichiță mentioned that the federation's sports psychologist is available to help players manage mental aspects of the game. Additionally, reports regarding a potential transfer to PAOK did not materialize as the Greek club ultimately signed a different player.
