Ștefan Botnar denies political appointment allegations

Ștefan Botnar, a former advisor to former Health Minister Ala Nemerenco, has issued a public clarification denying allegations that his appointment was based on political party recommendations.

Botnar addressed statements made by Nemerenco regarding the employment of young people in public institutions. While Nemerenco did not explicitly name him, Botnar stated he felt targeted by the remarks. He asserted that he has never been a member of any political party and emphasized that his professional background includes three consecutive terms as an advisor and training in public administration in Brussels.

Botnar also highlighted his involvement in managing the health crisis during the pandemic, noting his work at a field hospital outside of Moldova. He stated that he welcomes criticism based on facts and results rather than personal attacks or insinuations regarding political affiliations.
