Teófilo Cubillas honored by Alianza Lima with star in Caminito Íntimo

Peruvian football legend Teófilo Cubillas was honored by Alianza Lima with the unveiling of a star in the ‘Caminito Íntimo’ boulevard, located outside the Alejandro Villanueva stadium in La Victoria.

Cubillas, a former two-time champion with the club, joins other football icons such as Waldir Sáenz, José Soto, Jefferson Farfán, César Cueto, and Hugo Sotil in the honorary walk. During the ceremony, Cubillas expressed his eternal gratitude to the club, stating that he has always tried to express himself in the best way throughout his career.

In addition to the club's recognition, the Municipality of La Victoria awarded Cubillas the ‘Medalla La Victoria’ to honor his extraordinary sporting career and his contributions to the cultural identity of the district.
