Teggiano to host 31st Princess Costanza historical festival

The 31st edition of "Alla Tavola della Principessa Costanza" is scheduled to take place in Teggiano on August 11, 12, and 13. Organized by Pro Loco Teggiano, the event serves as a historical reenactment of the 1480 wedding between Antonello Sanseverino, Prince of Salerno, and Costanza di Montefeltro, daughter of the Duke of Urbino.

The festival transforms the historic center of the Vallo di Diano into an open-air stage featuring historical parades, taverns, and itinerant performances. A major highlight of the event is the "Assalto al Castello" (Assault on the Castle), which receives funding from the Campania Region.

Giancarlo Guercio will continue his role as artistic director. The event was recently presented during a press conference attended by representatives from the Pro Loco, the Municipality of Teggiano, the Salerno Chamber of Commerce, and UNPLI Salerno.
