Teguar and Paessler announce new industrial edge and monitoring solutions

Teguar has introduced the Regiment series, a new lineup of industrial PCs designed for edge computing, automation, and AI applications. The series consists of three performance classes: the Scout TB-6293 for data collection and transmission, the Optio TB-7293 for local image and process analysis, and the Regis TB-7393, which provides high-performance computing and GPU support for intensive machine vision and AI tasks.

In a separate development in the industrial technology sector, Paessler has launched its PRTG Multi-Platform Probe within the Siemens Industrial Edge Marketplace. This integration allows operators of Siemens Industrial Edge devices to monitor both IT and OT (Operational Technology) systems through a single instance. The probe captures data from various industrial protocols, such as OPC UA and Modbus TCP, providing visibility into programmable logic controllers (PLCs), field devices, and IT infrastructure to eliminate blind spots between corporate networks and production levels.
