Teguise Lanzarote Sailing Paradise wins Canarias Madeira Regatta

The Teguise Lanzarote Sailing Paradise, skippered by Alejandro Morales, won the 24th edition of the Canarias Madeira International Regatta. The vessel, owned by Ye Cabrera, secured its fourth victory in this ocean race.

The competition began in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, covering a distance of 262 nautical miles to Madeira. While the boat Sorcery, skippered by Antonio ‘Toy’ Hernández, was the first to complete the course in 33 hours, 33 minutes, and 57 seconds—breaking the previous real-time record—the Teguise Lanzarote Sailing Paradise was declared the overall winner after applying the compensated time coefficient in the ORC 0-2 class.

This victory follows the vessel's recent success in winning the Canary Islands Cruiser Championship.
