Tehnološki park Vinkovci expands cooperation with Posušje institutions

Josip Gilja, Director of Tehnološki park Vinkovci, has initiated discussions to expand cooperation with institutions and companies in Posušje. During a visit to the region, Gilja met with representatives from Weltplast d. o. o. and the Tehnološki park Posušje Foundation.

Key areas of potential collaboration include connecting Weltplast’s production programs with the Educational Center for Lightguide Technologies at Tehnološki park Vinkovci. Discussions focused on the ‘WELTPLAST PROTECT’ program, which involves pipe systems for protecting energy, telecommunications, and optical cables, applicable to lightguide infrastructure construction.

Additionally, the Tehnološki park Posušje Foundation and Tehnološki park Vinkovci discussed exchanging expertise regarding educational programs, such as CNC programming and operator training. The parties are exploring joint cross-border projects for European Union programs and the exchange of professional knowledge and lecturers to better align education with labor market needs.
