Tehnolub Motul Rally Primorje debuts in Croatia
The inaugural Tehnolub Motul Rally Primorje is set to take place in Croatia, connecting the coastal areas of Novi Vinodolski and Senj. Organized by the Zagreb-based Auto klub On & Off Racing, the event features two main speed stages: a 17.17-kilometer course in Novi Vinodolski starting above Bribir and a 13.85-kilometer course in Senj.
The rally has received 48 entries, including crews from Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Finland, Italy, and Estonia. The competition serves as the season finale for both the Croatian Rally Championship and the International Zone Championship of Croatia.
While the event marks a significant return of rally racing to the Primorje region, the reigning Croatian champion, Matteo Bernini, will not participate due to financial reasons and has instead chosen to compete in a rally in Finland. The battle for the runner-up positions in the championship will primarily involve competitors such as Hungary’s Janos Szilagyi.
