Tehran City Council renames streets and metro station

During its 426th session, the Tehran City Council approved the renaming of numerous streets, alleys, highways, and a metro station to honor martyrs. The changes affect several districts within the capital, including districts 3, 4, 5, 15, 18, and 22.

In District 18, several alleys and streets in Shahrak-e Valiasr and Shadabad were renamed. District 22 also saw changes to various thoroughfares and new passages. In District 4, the Bagheri metro station was renamed to honor the Bagheri martyrs. Other modifications occurred in Districts 3, 5, and 15, involving highways, intersections, and residential streets.
