Tehran conducts emergency water supply drill

Authorities in Tehran held an emergency water supply and biological defense drill at Qasr Park to enhance the readiness of service providers during crises. The exercise, conducted by the water and wastewater company of Tehran's District 2, involved operational and management teams, crisis management units, and the 'Mirab' non-governmental organization.

Tehran Governor Hossein Khoshghalb emphasized that such maneuvers are essential for ensuring the continuity of services to citizens during natural disasters or other emergencies. He noted that service providers are among the first responders required to assist the public during difficult periods. The drill was held in conjunction with Non-Civil Defense Week to practice emergency distribution and water transfer processes under simulated crisis conditions.
