Tehran electricity restrictions decrease as temperatures fall

Electricity restrictions in Tehran have begun to decrease following a drop in temperatures and a corresponding decline in power consumption. Kambiz Nazarian, spokesperson for the Tehran Great Power Distribution Company, stated that the downward trend in temperatures has led to reduced use of cooling equipment, providing an opportunity to gradually phase out planned limitations.

Nazarian noted that the reduction in restrictions began at the start of the week. Based on current forecasts, the company aims to conclude all planned load management measures in the coming days as the grid returns to normal conditions. He emphasized that consumer cooperation during peak demand hours remains vital for maintaining grid stability and ensuring continuous service.
