Tehran Kurdistan Highway collision leaves 3 dead and 17 injured

A minibus collision on the Kurdistan Highway in Tehran has resulted in three deaths and 17 injuries. The accident occurred on Saturday afternoon when a minibus carrying 15 male passengers collided with a Peugeot 405.

Following the impact, the minibus struck trees in the center of the boulevard and overturned. Firefighters arrived at the scene approximately six minutes after the alert to extricate passengers trapped inside the vehicle.

The casualties include 12 injured passengers from the minibus, one female pedestrian, two men from the Peugeot 405, and two women from a Kia vehicle. Emergency responders also worked to secure the site due to a diesel leak from the overturned minibus. Traffic police are investigating the exact cause of the crash.
