Tehran Prosecutor issues indictments in major terrorism cases

Tehran Prosecutor Ali Salehi has announced the issuance of indictments regarding two major terrorist cases. The first indictment concerns a terrorist act resulting in the martyrdom of Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and four members of his family, including a daughter, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, and a 14-month-old grandchild.

The indictment charges the perpetrators with “spreading corruption on earth” through terrorism aimed at destabilizing the state and influencing national policies. The prosecutor emphasized that the deaths of women and children in the attack are classified as terrorist acts rather than mere collateral damage, citing both domestic laws and international humanitarian principles regarding the protection of civilians.

The second indictment relates to a terrorist attack involving students at the Shajareh Tayyebah School in Minab. The prosecutor stated that these legal documents will serve as a basis for pursuing criminal responsibility against the organizers and perpetrators both domestically and in international arenas.
