Tejashwi Yadav inspects Ganges erosion in Raghopur

Tejashwi Yadav, the Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Assembly and National Executive President of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), inspected erosion-prone areas in his Raghopur constituency following rising water levels and strong currents in the Ganges River.

During the inspection, Yadav assessed the flood and erosion threats facing riverside villages and consulted with officials and engineers regarding the situation. He instructed authorities to maintain constant monitoring of water levels and erosion status, emphasizing that the administration must remain on high alert to ensure immediate action during emergencies.

Yadav called for the immediate commencement of erosion prevention work where necessary and urged officials to maintain close coordination with local residents to provide timely information. He also stressed the importance of ensuring the availability of resources to manage potential flooding and provide rapid assistance to affected populations.
