Tekever expands to Germany while Continental Mabor invests in Portugal

Tekever, a European leader in AI-based autonomous systems, has announced its expansion into Germany. The company will establish its strategic headquarters and regional center for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland) in Munich. This move follows a $580 million Series D funding round and aims to strengthen Tekever's presence in the German defense and security sectors. The company is already collaborating with the Bundeswehr, having provided its first heavy-lift unmanned aerial system to the German Armed Forces for operational evaluation.

In Portugal, Continental Mabor is beginning construction on a new technological competence center at its industrial complex in Lousado, Vila Nova de Famalicão. The facility is expected to employ approximately 500 specialists in areas such as engineering, digital specialization, and research. This investment supports the evolution of one of the company's largest global tire production units and aims to boost regional economic development.
