TEKEVER launches AR6 heavy‑lift autonomous drone
TEKEVER announced the AR6, a new family of autonomous drones capable of transporting 200 kg over distances up to 500 km. The system was unveiled at the Farnborough International Airshow and is designed for both civil and military applications. The AR6 is built in the United Kingdom in partnership with local SMEs, with production planned for TEKEVER's Swindon facility by the end of 2026. It uses a unique hydraulic‑propulsion system that allows operation in extreme heat or cold, low maintenance and reduced operating costs.
The company highlights potential uses such as logistics, offshore support, medical evacuation, search and rescue, and disaster‑relief missions on the civilian side, and casualty evacuation and advanced forward‑area logistics for the military. TEKEVER is also selected for the UK’s Project Nyx, which aims to develop autonomous systems for Apache helicopters, underscoring the platform’s strategic relevance.
