Tekirdağ authorities promote foster care awareness model

The Tekirdağ Family and Social Services Provincial Directorate organized an information program to increase social awareness regarding the foster care service model. The initiative aims to support children in growing up within a family environment.

During the program, which was held for AFAD personnel, comprehensive information was provided about the importance of foster care and its positive effects on child development. The session covered the application process, required conditions for applicants, and the evaluation stages for those wishing to become foster parents. The directorate stated that such awareness efforts will continue across various institutions to ensure children in need of care can develop in safe and healthy family settings.
