Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality expands TEK Market network in Çorlu

Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality has expanded its TEK Market project by opening two new branches in the Çorlu district, specifically in the Şeyhsinan and Muhittin neighborhoods. This expansion brings the total number of TEK Market locations to 11 across 10 districts.

The project aims to provide consumers with high-quality, affordable food while supporting local producers by creating a direct link between them and the consumer, thereby reducing intermediary costs. For the first time, white cheese and kashar cheese produced from milk sourced directly from Malkara producers are being sold at these markets.

Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Candan Yüceer stated that the project was designed based on the needs and demands of citizens to address economic difficulties. The initiative also incorporates products from women's cooperatives to diversify the local economy. Future plans include expanding the network to 13 locations across 11 districts, with upcoming openings scheduled for Çerkezköy and Kapaklı.
