Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality opens eighth TEK Market branch
Tekirdağ Metropolitan Municipality has opened its eighth TEK Market branch in Marmaraereğlisi. The project is designed to create a direct sales channel between local producers and consumers to support the regional economy.
According to Mayor Dr. Candan Yüceer, 100 percent of the products sold in these markets are sourced from Tekirdağ. This includes meat products processed in the municipality's own slaughterhouse, dairy products, and traditional handmade goods like tarhana and kuskus.
The municipality aims to expand the network to all 11 districts of Tekirdağ by the end of September. Future expansion plans include new branches in Çorlu, Kapaklı, and Çerkezköy, with the potential to reach a total of 13 locations based on local demand.
